The Erasmus Mundus NANOPHI consortium met on 17th and 18th October 2014 for the official kick-off meeting of the 4-year European programme with Australia and New Zealand. 12 representatives of the 9 institutions involved in the programme (7 from Europe, 1 from Australia and 1 from New Zealand) attended the 2-day meeting. Alina Filimon, a delegate of the head of sector of the EACEA, expressed the European support and confidence in the actions of the consortium.
The kick-off meeting of the Erasmus Mundus NANOPHI, held on the Paris Diderot campus, was an important moment for partners to meet again or to know each other, to present their home institutions and to point out important aspects of the project objectives and implementation to the Erasmus Mundus Action 2 Team. Group tours were also organised in the laboratories which will be involved in the programme.
